Neal Shore, MD, FACS, Carolina Urologic Research Center, Myrtle Beach, SC, comments on patient-reported outcomes from the Phase I study (NCT03460977) of mevrometostat plus enzalutamide versus enzalutamide alone in patients with metastatic castration-resistant prostate cancer (mCRPC). The combination maintained overall health-related quality of life, with a significant delay in time to deterioration on the prostate cancer-specific subscale. These findings support the tolerability of adding mevrometostat to standard therapy and are being further investigated in ongoing Phase III trials. This interview took place at the European Society for Medical Oncology (ESMO) 2025 Congress in Berlin, Germany.
