ELCC 2026 | Beamion LUNG-1: zongertinib in treatment-naïve HER2-mutant NSCLC and in those with brain metastases
Adrian Sacher, MD, MMSc, FRCPC, Princess Margaret Cancer Centre, Toronto, Canada, comments on findings from the Beamion LUNG-1 study (NCT04886804) examining zongertinib in treatment-naïve HER2-mutant non-small cell lung cancer (NSCLC) and in patients with brain metastases. The study showed a relatively high response rate of 76% overall, as well as a high response rate in patients with brain metastases. This interview took place at the 2026 European Lung Cancer Congress in Copenhagen, Denmark.
