Neil Shah, MBBS, Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Centre, New York, NY, discusses the growth in oncological data as a consequence of technological expansion in the recent years. The quality and quantity of patient datasets have improved, thus the interpretation of this information must also be refined. Dr Shah suggests collaboration across disciplines such as bioinformatic engineers, statisticians and clinicians can ensure the security, accessibility and quality of data. This interview took place during the American Society of Clinical Oncology (ASCO) 2023 Annual Meeting in Chicago, IL.
