Karijn Suijkerbuijk, MD, PhD, UMC Utrecht, Utrecht, The Netherlands, discusses extended follow-up results from the Phase II MIZAR-003 trial (NCT06703398), which compared GC101, an autologous tumor-infiltrating lymphocyte (TIL) therapy, with investigator-choice chemotherapy in anti-PD-1-refractory advanced melanoma. GC101 significantly improved progression-free survival and response rates, with benefit seen across mucosal and acral subtypes. A favorable but immature overall survival trend was observed, warranting further follow-up for definitive confirmation. This interview took place at the European Society for Medical Oncology (ESMO) 2026 Congress in Madrid, Spain.
