A key message of the report is that there is a lack of complete data about patients with lung cancer in areas such as mental health, homelessness, LGBTQ+, and religion. The National Lung Cancer Audit (NLCA) is aiming to increase its remit to include data in these areas, with the hope of improving outcomes for patients.
