ESMO WCGIC 2023 | The role of the PLATON Network in enhancing precision oncology

Arndt Vogel, MD, Hannover Medical School, Hannover, Germany, gives an overview of the PLATON Network (NCT05489250), an interactive precision oncology network covering a view variety of tumor types. More widespread molecular profiling will enable clinicals to elucidate the potential prognostic or predicative abilities of certain molecular alterations. The project will additionally increase patient recruitment to clinical trials, and improve implementation of personalized medicine in oncology. This interview took place at the ESMO World Congress on Gastrointestinal Cancer (WCGIC) 2023 in Barcelona, Spain.
