WCLC 2023 | Future directions for multidisciplinary consensus on the definition of resectable NSCLC

Mariana Brandao, MD, PhD, Institute Jules Bordet, Brussels, Belgium, shares the potential usages of the results of a multidisciplinary consensus on the definition of resectable non-small cell lung cancer (NSCLC). The criteria developed from the consensus may be applied to other patients with NSCLC, and guidelines developed in the discussions could be adopted in future clinical trials. Dr Brandao emphasises the importance of evaluating lymph node invasion in NSCLC as this can benefit the assessment of resectability. This interview took place at the 2023 World Conference on Lung Cancer (WCLC) in Singapore, Singapore.
