WCCS 2022 | Minimelanomas & microblotches: new perspectives of melanoma dermoscopy

Susana Puig Sardá, MD, PhD, Hospital Clínic Barcelona, Barcelona, Spain, talks on recently published results on the dermascopic and pathologic characteristics of small melanomas. Minimelanomas are diagnosed via digital follow-up as new or growing lesions and the majority are early invasive melanomas and nevus lesions. Microblotches consist of small dermascopic features, with well-defined borders and correspond to pigmented parakeratosis or consumption of the epidermis.under histopathological correlation.
