Kanwal Pratap Singh Raghav, MBBS, MD, The University of Texas MD Anderson Cancer Center, Houston, TX, shares updated findings from the open-label, Phase Ib/II OrigAMI-1 study (NCT05379595) of amivantamab, a bispecific antibody targeting EGFR and MET. The trial focused on right-sided metastatic tumors in colorectal cancer, as these patients have previously shown a lack of response to anti-EGFR agents. The results showed long response durations and high disease control rates, suggesting a novel approach for overcoming treatment resistance in right-sided metastatic colorectal cancer. This interview took place at the ASCO GI Cancers Symposium 2025 in San Francisco, CA.
