Dirk Arnold, MD, PhD, Asklepios Tumorzentrum Hamburg AK Altona, Hamburg, Germany, discusses the challenges associated with treating and prognostically defining certain pancreatic cancer because of their heterogenous and rare nature. Dr Arnold also emphasizes the lack of high-grade evidence-based recommendations for such malignancies, as well as the difficulty in determining the best molecular route to treat patients with exocrine versus endocrine tumors. This interview took place at the ESMO Sarcoma and Rare Cancers Congress 2023 in Lugano, Switzerland.
