Allison Betof Warner, MD, Stanford Cancer Center, Stanford, CA, provides a brief overview on lifileucel, a tumor-infiltrating lymphocyte (TIL) therapy for melanoma brain metastases (MBM). The C-144-01 trial (NCT02360579) led to the approval of lifileucel for the treatment of metastatic melanoma, but complications like thrombocytopenia and seizures have been observed in previous studies. A pilot trial (NCT05640193) was designed to combat these complications and explore the feasibility of lifileucel in 10 patients using a modified treatment regimen. This interview took place at the Society for Melanoma Research (SMR) 2024 Annual Meeting in New Orleans, LA.
