ESMO GI 2026 | 3-year data of botensilimab & balstilimab in MSS metastatic colorectal cancer

Benjamin Schlechter, MD, Dana-Farber Cancer Institute, Boston, MA, explores extended follow-up results from the Phase Ib C-800-01 study (NCT03860272), evaluating botensilimab plus balstilimab in previously treated, microsatellite-stable metastatic colorectal cancer without active liver metastases. The combination produced durable responses with roughly one-third of patients alive at three years, alongside manageable toxicity, including in patients previously exposed to later-line therapies. This interview took place at the European Society for Medical Oncology (ESMO) Gastrointestinal Cancer 2026 Congress in Munich, Germany.
