ESMO 2023 | Updates in metastatic triple-negative breast cancer at ESMO 2023

Eva Ciruelos, MD, PhD, University Hospital October 12, Madrid, Spain, discusses the latest developments in triple-negative breast cancer (TNBC), including the need for more biomarkers. BRCA mutations and PD-L1 are the only two biomarkers available, which can guide patients towards PARP inhibitors and immunotherapy respectively. Dr Ciruelos additionally highlights the emerging role of sacituzumab govitecan in this setting.
