ASCO 2026 | ASCENT-04: PFS2 with sacituzumab govitecan and pembrolizumab in PD-L1+ mTNBC

Kevin Kalinsky, MD, MS, Emory University, Atlanta, GA, progression-free survival after next line of treatment (PFS2) analyses from ASCENT-04 (NCT05382286), evaluating sacituzumab govitecan plus pembrolizumab versus chemotherapy plus pembrolizumab in patients with treatment naïve PD-L1-positive metastatic triple-negative breast cancer (mTNBC). Results demonstrated improved PFS2 with sacituzumab govitecan plus pembrolizumab despite crossover, indicating clinically relevant continued benefit beyond first progression and further supporting this combination as a potential new standard of care in this setting. This interview took place during the 2026 American Society of Clinical Oncology (ASCO) Meeting in Chicago, IL.
