Janice Mehnert, MD, Perlmutter Cancer Center of NYU Langone Health, New York, NY, highlights the potential of cellular therapies in patients that have shown resistance to first-line immunotherapy against NRAS-mutant melanoma. A central focus in future research will be identifying patients with disease samples eligible for biopsy and reinfusion, who demonstrate a significant benefit from targeted therapy. This interview took place at the 21st International Congress of the Society for Melanoma Research (SMR) in New Orleans, LA.
