ESMO 2024 | NATALEE: ribociclib and NSAI in HR+/HER2- early breast cancer

Kevin Kalinsky, MD, MS, Emory University Hospital, Atlanta, GA, discusses findings from the NATALEE trial (NCT03701334) of ribociclib plus a nonsteroidal aromatase inhibitor (NSAI) compared to NSAI alone in younger patients with HR+/HER2- early breast cancer (EBC). This analysis compares efficacy and safety in patients under 40 versus those 40 and older, and addition of ribociclib benefits in both age groups. The findings are additionally similar to the results of the monarchE (NCT03155997) trial. This interview took place at the European Society for Medical Oncology (ESMO) 2024 Congress in Barcelona, Spain.
