Alexander Spira, MD, PhD, Virginia Cancer Specialist, Fairfax, VA, discusses updated data for RMC9805, an allele-specific KRAS G12D inhibitor, in an expansion cohort for pancreatic cancer. Dr Spira highlights that the response rates are around 30%, but the clinical benefit rate, including partial and complete responses, as well as stable disease, is up to 80%, providing clear evidence of activity. Additionally, circulating tumor DNA (ctDNA) data shows significant clearance of KRAS G12D in patients, with 50% and 36% of patients experiencing at least 50% and complete clearance, respectively, This interview took place at the ASCO GI Cancers Symposium 2025 in San Francisco, CA.
