Dermato-Onco2024 | Impact of de novo autoimmune skin toxicities during therapy with ICIs

Yevgeniy Semenov, MD, Massachusetts General Hospital, Boston, MA, discusses the impact of de novo autoimmune cutaneous connective tissue disease in patients undergoing anti-PD-(L)1 therapy. Although cutaneous connective tissue disease may emerge during immunotherapy, it was not associated to negative outcomes like increased mortality, and associated toxicities may subside over time, when immunotherapy is no longer administered in patients. This interview took place at The European Congress on Dermato-Oncology 2024 in Vienna, Austria.
