ASCO 2024 | MiST5: niraparib and dostarlimab in relapsed malignant mesothelioma

Dean Fennell, FRCP, PhD, University of Leicester, Leicester, UK, discusses the Phase IIa MiST5 trial (NCT03654833) evaluating niraparib and dostarlimab in patients with relapsed malignant mesothelioma. The primary endpoint of the study, disease control rate at 12 weeks, was met, demonstrating promising disease control. Manageable toxicity was additionally reported, supporting further investigation into the cellular and molecular correlates for this combination therapy. This interview took place during the 2024 American Society of Clinical Oncology (ASCO) Meeting in Chicago, IL.
