WCLC 2024 | CARMEN-LC03: tusamitamab ravtansine versus docetaxel in pre-treated NSCLC

Benjamin Besse, MD, PhD, Gustave Roussy, Villejuif, France, discusses the results of the Phase III CARMEN-LC03 trial (NCT04154956) of tusamitamab ravtansine, an antibody-drug conjugate (ADC), in patients with advanced non-squamous non-small cell lung cancer (NSCLC) expressing high levels of CEACAM5. Patients received either tusamitamab ravtansine or docetaxel and whilst median progression-free survival (PFS) was similar between both arms, tusamitamab ravtansine showed a trend favoring overall survival. The ADC demonstrated a more favorable safety profile, with fewer severe treatment-related adverse events. This interview took place at the 2024 World Conference on Lung Cancer (WCLC) in San Diego, CA.
