WCLC 2024 | The benefits of standardized patient-reported outcomes in lung cancer trials

Alberto Servetto, MD, PhD, University of Naples Federico II, Naples, Italy, discusses the clinical significance of the PRO4All project, which aims to define lung cancer-specific patient-reported outcome measures (PROMs) used in clinical trials. The project was conducted across multiple institutions across Italy, and a more standardized methodology in measuring patient-reported outcomes will benefit clinical trials and patients. The findings can even also be translated into clinical practice. This interview took place at the 2024 World Conference on Lung Cancer (WCLC) in San Diego, CA.
