ESMO 2024 | LUMINOSITY: PROs for telisotuzumab vedotin in c-Met overexpressing NSCLC
Nicolas Girard, MD, Institut Curie, Paris, France, discusses the findings from the LUMINOSITY trial (NCT03539536) in non-small cell lung cancer (NSCLC) targeting c-Met overexpressing tumors. Telisotuzumab vedotin (Teliso-V), an antibody-drug conjugate, demonstrated an encouraging response rate, especially in patients with high c-Met expression. Patients reported improvements in symptoms like chest pain and dyspnea, with better time to deterioration for those with stable disease. Peripheral neuropathy was a common side effect, mostly grade I/II. Currently, Teliso-V is being further investigated in a Phase III trial, compared to docetaxel in a second-line setting. This interview took place at the European Society for Medical Oncology (ESMO) 2024 Congress in Barcelona, Spain.
