ELCC 2026 | Neoadjuvant vs perioperative immunotherapy in resectable NSCLC

Nicolas Girard, MD, PhD, Institut Curie, Paris, France, explores the evidence for neoadjuvant and perioperative immunotherapy in resectable non-small cell lung cancer (NSCLC), highlighting similar survival and pathologic complete response rates. It is not yet clear which patients benefit from perioperative immunotherapy, and biomarkers or ctDNA may need to be used to identify these patients going forward. This interview took place at the 2026 European Lung Cancer Congress in Copenhagen, Denmark.
