Melissa Calopiz, University of Michigan, Ann Arbor, MI, reviews the different ways to optimize antibody-drug conjugate (ADC) administration in breast cancer treatment. Co-dosing ADCs with antibody backbones have proven to be well-tolerable and less toxic in patients and can lead to better distribution and efficacy of therapy. Activation of the innate immune system without increasing ADC dosage can also maximize therapeutic outcomes. This interview took place at the 2024 San Antonio Breast Cancer Symposium (SABCS) congress in San Antonio, TX.
