AACR 2025 | Nous-209 immunotherapy in Lynch syndrome cancer interception
Jason Willis, MD, PhD, The University of Texas MD Anderson Cancer Center, Houston, TX, discusses the final safety and immunogenicity findings from the Phase Ib/II trial (NCT05078866) of Nous-209, a neoantigen-directed immunotherapy for cancer interception in Lynch syndrome carriers. The vaccine targets shared frameshift mutations in microsatellite instability-associated precancerous lesions. Nous-209 was well tolerated, with no unexpected adverse events. All evaluable participants showed neoantigen-specific T cell responses, showing the promising capability of the novel immunotherapy. This interview took place at American Association for Cancer Research (AACR) Annual Meeting 2025 in Chicago, IL.
