Darwin Kwok, PhD, University of California, San Francisco, CA, discusses the development of a neoantigen discovery platform that identifies splicing-derived neoantigens across multiple cancer types. Using transcriptomic and proteomic datasets, the study highlights public, clonally-expressed neojunctions with potential for immunotherapeutic targeting. The findings support aberrant splicing as a promising neoantigen source. This interview took place during the 2025 American Society of Clinical Oncology (ASCO) Meeting in Chicago, IL.
