WCLC 2026 | Updates in mesothelioma and small cell lung cancer at WCLC 2026

Dean Fennell, FRCP, PhD, FRSB, University of Leicester & University Hospitals of Leicester NHS Trust, Leicester, UK, provides his highlights from the 2026 World Conference on Lung Cancer congress, including results of the B7-H3-directed antibody-drug conjugate (ADC) in relapsed small cell lung cancer (SCLC). Dr Fennell also mentions presenting new data on a trial in progress for a PRMT5 inhibitor targeting MTAP deleted mesotheliomas, aiming to exploit synthetic lethality in this aggressive disease. This interview took place at the IASLC 2026 World Conference on Lung Cancer congress in Seoul, Republic of Korea.
