ESMO 2026 | Pan-cancer TROP2 expression and survival in the MONSTAR-SCREEN-2 cohort

Kyosuke Seguchi, MD, National Cancer Center Hospital East, Kashiwa, Japan, discusses an integrated pan-cancer analysis of TROP2 expression, using RNA sequencing and immunohistochemistry data from the SCRUM-Japan MONSTAR-SCREEN-2 programme (UMIN000043899). Expression varied widely across cancer types and showed only a modest correlation between RNA and protein levels. However, high expression was associated with worse survival in pancreatic ductal adenocarcinoma and urothelial carcinoma. This interview took place at the European Society for Medical Oncology (ESMO) 2026 Congress in Madrid, Spain.
