Karijn Suijkerbuijk, MD, PhD, UMC Utrecht, Utrecht, The Netherlands, comments on the limitations and potential of tumor-infiltrating lymphocytes (TIL) therapy, highlighting that not all patients are eligible due to requirements such as resectable lesions and tolerance for chemotherapy and IL-2. Ongoing studies will provide insights into the optimal use of TIL, including its potential combination with checkpoint inhibitors and its role in first-line treatment. This interview took place at the European Society for Medical Oncology (ESMO) 2026 Congress in Madrid, Spain.
