BTOG 2025 | Using CAR-T cell therapy in oncogene-addicted NSCLC
Gerry Hanna, MBBCh, PhD, MRCP, FRCR, FRANZCR, Trinity College Dublin, Dublin, Ireland, discusses the use of CAR-T cell therapy in patients with non-small cell lung cancer (NSCLC). In patients with oncogene-addicted NSCLC, CAR-T cell therapy combined with an oncogene-addicted treatment could prove more affected than oncogene-addicted therapies alone. While CAR-T cell therapy has displayed predominant success in hematological malignancies, this combination could induce immune reprograming in patients with NSCLC with limited therapeutic options. This interview took place at the BTOG 2025 congress in Belfast, UK.
