WCLC 2024 | What does the future hold for germline testing in lung cancer?

Courtney Granville, PhD, GO2 for Lung Cancer, Washington, DC, gives an overview of emerging research on germline testing for lung cancer. Whilst the field is in its infancy, further studies will help identify high risk populations and hopefully detect lung cancer earlier. However, some people may have concerns regarding whole genome sequencing, and multigene tests are a possible alternative to germline testing. This interview took place at the 2024 World Conference on Lung Cancer (WCLC) in San Diego, CA.
