BNOS 2022 | Treating brain tumors with Gamma Knife radiosurgery

Hamoun Rozati, MBChB, Imperial College London, London, UK, provides an overview of Gamma Knife radiosurgery, a form of stereotactic radiosurgery. The procedure enables individual brain lesions to be accurately targeted and can be utilized on the same day as the diagnosis. The radiosurgery additionally has fewer components compared to other forms of stereotactic radiosurgery and multiple lesions can be simultaneously treated as healthy tissue is less likely to be damaged. This interview took place at the British Neuro-Oncology Society (BNOS) Annual Meeting 2022
