Nicolas Girard, MD, Institut Curie, Paris, France, discusses findings from the Phase II RELATIVITY-104 trial (NCT04623775), which compared platinum doublet chemotherapy plus nivolumab to a combination of platinum doublet chemotherapy, nivolumab, and relatlimab in metastatic non-small cell lung cancer (NSCLC). While the overall study did not meet statistical significance for the primary endpoint in the intent-to-treat population, a subgroup analysis showed promising results in patients with non-squamous NSCLC with PD-L1 expression ≥1%. This interview took place at the European Society for Medical Oncology (ESMO) 2024 Congress in Barcelona, Spain.
