ASCO 2026 | Phase III trial of trastuzumab rezetecan vs SOC in HER2-positive advanced CRC

Filippo Pietrantonio, MD, Fonzdazione IRCCS Istituto Nazionale dei Tumori, Milan, Italy, highlights results from a Phase III trial (NCT06199973) of trastuzumab rezetecan, a HER2-targeted antibody-drug conjugate (ADC), versus standard of care in patients with chemotherapy-refractory, HER2-positive, RAS and RAF wild-type advanced colorectal cancer (CRC). Trastuzumab rezetecan demonstrated significantly prolonged progression-free survival and improved overall response rate versus standard of care, with a manageable safety profile. This interview took place during the 2026 American Society of Clinical Oncology (ASCO) Meeting in Chicago, IL.
