GU Cancers 2024 | TALAPRO-2: rPFS and OS of talazoparib and enzalutamide in mCRPC

Neal Shore, MD, FACS, Carolina Urologic Research Center, Myrtle Beach, SC, delves into the findings of the Phase III TALAPRO-2 trial (NCT03395197), which investigated the efficacy of talazoparib and enzalutamide versus enzalutamide monotherapy as a first-line treatment for metastatic castration-resistant prostate cancer (mCRPC). A significant improvement in radiographic progression-free survival (rPFS) with talazoparib and enzalutamide and a notable rPFS benefit in the non-BRCAm and non-HRRm subgroups were reported.
