BTOG 2019 | National Lung Cancer Audit Report 2018: where are we for lung cancer care in the UK?

The 2018 National Lung Cancer Audit (NCLA) report was released at the British Thoracic Oncology Group (BTOG) 2019 Annual Conference, held in Dublin, Ireland. We spoke to Neal Navani, MA, MRCP, MSc, PhD, of the Care Quality Improvement Department, Royal College of Physicians, London, UK, at the conference about the launch. Dr Navani highlights the increased completeness of data from centers in the latest report, before discussing the subsequent findings, including increasing surgical resection rates, the number of patients receiving chemotherapy, and radical treatment rates.
