Walter Weber, MD, University Hospital Basel, Basel, Switzerland, provides an overview of controversial topics in axillary management, including standard of care for residual disease following chemotherapy, standard imaging of the axilla, as well as what to do in patients with recurrence following initial breast-conserving therapy in cases where the sentinel has already been performed at primary surgery.
