ESMO 2024 | DEDICATION-1: reduced versus standard dose pembrolizumab in stage IV NSCLC

Mariana Brandão, MD, PhD, Jules Bordet Institute, Brussels, Belgium, comments on the interim results from the DEDICATION-1 trial (NCT04909684) of reduced-dose pembrolizumab compared to standard dosing in patients with non-small cell lung cancer (NSCLC). The study evaluates pembrolizumab as monotherapy or in combination with chemotherapy. The interim analysis showed no significant difference in one-year overall survival or progression-free survival between reduced and standard dosing, supporting the trial’s continuation. This interview took place at the European Society for Medical Oncology (ESMO) 2024 Congress in Barcelona, Spain.
