BTOG 2022 | Genomic testing of lung cancer via Genomic Laboratory Hubs

Genomic Laboratory Hubs (GLHs) have been set up by the NHS to enhance and standardize genomic testing throughout the country. Neal Navani, MA, MRCP, MSc, PhD, Care Quality Improvement Department, Royal College of Physicians, London, UK, discusses the current state of GLHs and what needs to be done to advance them. Lung cancer screening has currently not been implemented in every GLH due to logistical barriers and COVID-19, and increased funding and capacity will enhance the current capabilities of molecular testing. This interview took place at the 20th Annual British Thoracic Oncology Group (BTOG) Conference 2022.
