Alessandro Di Federico, MD, Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center, New York, NY, discusses findings from the Phase IIb TRITON trial (NCT06008093) evaluating durvalumab plus tremelimumab with chemotherapy versus pembrolizumab plus chemotherapy in KRAS-mutant non-small cell lung cancer (NSCLC) with STK11 or KEAP1 alterations. Dr Di Federico highlights the higher and more durable responses observed with dual immune checkpoint blockade and places these findings in the context of a recent meta-analysis supporting the long-term benefit of dual immunotherapy in biologically high-risk patient populations. This interview took place during the 2026 American Society of Clinical Oncology (ASCO) Meeting in Chicago, IL.
